All about Jarren

Jarren was born August 7, 2006 to Jason and Jenger McTee.  His big sister is Jensen.

 

Jarren’s birth was very traumatic and he was not breathing; therefore, depriving his young brain and body of oxygen.  He has been diagnosed of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).  HIE is defined as damage to the cells of the central nervous system from inadequate oxygen. 

 

Jarren will need to overcome many obstacles in his life, including how to develop muscle control.  This development will allow him to hold up his head, roll over and eventually learn to walk.
