This was the first fundraiser held for Jarren. It was held at the Onion Shed in Farmersville in June 2008. It was a huge success due to the hard work of many friends and family. Hot dogs were cooked and served by the Farmersville Fire Department. Many businesses contributed to the silent action and kids enjoyed the bounce houses that were donated for the day. Jarren was presented with a signed football by the 2007 2A State Champion Farmersville Fighting Farmer football team. There are hopes to make this an annual event. |

The largest benefit tournament in Farmersville. 28 teams come out for this one day tournament on July 16, 2008. Games started at 8am. The championship game of this double elimination tournament was at 1245 am! Jarren threw out the first pitch of the day along with his parents. Volunteers made the day run smooth and on time. Special thanks to the Farmersville Police Department and Kristi Horton for all their hard work in preparing for this event. This was the first but plans are to hold it annually each July. |
